You can easily clean stainless steel and wooden dish rack, but not so with a plastic dish rack. Maybe I should say the ones I owned before were difficult to clean especially if oil touched it.

If you ask me which one should I go for, I will definitely go for a 2 tier stainless steel dish rack over bamboo or plastic.

5. Availability of a dish drainer

It is quite unfortunate that even in 2020 you’ll see a 2 tier dish rack that didn’t come with a dish drainer or a tray pipe.

Honestly, if I want to buy a dish rack and it lacks a dish drainer or a tray pipe, I won’t buy such a rack. I don’t see any reason why some manufacturers will exclude it from their racks.

I will advise you to go for a two-tier dish drying rack that comes along with a dish drainer or a tray pipe.

6. Non-slip or Anti-slip feet

I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced a moment your dish rack fell off from the kitchen cabinet?

Nothing will be left, and when I say nothing, I mean all dishes and bowls will definitely break into pieces.

In order to avoid this type of issue or accident, the dish rack is now made of anti-slip feet. This foot is usually made of rubber or suction cups attached to the stainless steel feet.
